Diya is excited to announce that Awaaz is almost here! Join us for the largest student-run production on campus. The theme this year is “Hari & Kumar go to Sitar,” and with all of the amazing acts we have lined up this year, you won’t want to miss it! And yes, there will be dinner before the show!
Look for tickets being sold on the plaza starting October 25th.

3. Odissi Dance Concert
Duke University Dance Program presents a solo Odissi dance concert by visiting artist-in-residence, Smt. Sujata Mohapatra, a distinguished Odissi dancer and a disciple of “Padmavibhushana” Guru Kelucharana Mohapatra.

Dussera-
Saturday was the Hindu holiday of Dussera. It is celebrated on the tenth day of the Hindu autumn lunar month of Ashvwayuja. This holiday marks the beginning of the harvest season. The Mother Goddess is invoked to reactivate the vigor and fertility of the soil . Happy Dussera everyone!
